DAY 2

Today our goal was to make rough concept. Yesterday we focussed on creating a vision of what we think the day of a person from an elderly home looks like. So what things do they do, so like how long is someone with other people or how many times a week does someone do something with sports or do they do sport at all. Besides that we thought about the restrictions of those people what are the things they can’t do or are the negative things about being a old person in an elderly home.

After talking to each other and making mindmaps we discovered 4 things we wanted to do something with. those were:
·         the design of matti
·         loneliness in the elderly homes
·         puzzles to trigger their minds
·         remembering things to help against Alzheimer
·         simple versions of sports
·         the supporting bars

We wanted to think of concepts along those lines and maybe combine them to a ultimate concept.
We also wanted to have something that was out of the box and not the most straight forward thing you would think about.

We also figured out there were 3 people in an elderly home:
·         the people who can walk just fine
·         the people who can stand up with a little bit support
·         the people who can’t stand up at all

The first group doesn’t need anything extra to play on matti.
The second group needs a supporting bar, but those are heavy and those people need other people to set it up and the help isn’t always available for them.

The last group needs to have matti on the table to play with it
